Message from General Schneider: Military Affairs and Air Force Advisory Council Leaders,
Chief McCool and I want to take a moment to express our gratitude for your ongoing support, especially as we move closer to important land lease renewal conversations. Your work communicating the Department of the Air Force’s mission in Hawai’i through your network, local community, and state and federal leaders cannot be overstated. Your commitment to fostering strong relationships and promoting collaboration is invaluable to protecting our way of life and defense of the homeland.

September: Air Force Ball (9/15) This annal event was held at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort and was well attended by our members. The theme was “Remembering Vietnam-50 Years Later” and the guest speaker was General William Begert, former PACAF Commander, Assistant Vice Chief of Staff for the Air Force, who spoke about his experience as a Forward Air Controller during the Vietnam War;
AFCAC Airmen’s Luncheons (9/22) Started in 2021, this luncheon is to give PACAF Airmen opportunities to come out of the base and learn about civilian lives, at the same time, AFCAC members learn about Airmen’s everyday lives
October: Mahalo Bash @ Bellows Field Beach Park (10/5) This is an annual Airmen’s family beach party held by PACAF. General and Mrs. Wilsbach and Chief Master Sergent and Mrs. Wolfe attended this event. AFCAC contributed financially and also donated gift bags for Airmen’s children.

November: UH vs Air Force Football Game (11/11) We had a chance of distributing donated tickets to the Airmen. Also, General and Mrs. Wilsbach and Chief Master Sergent and Mrs. Wolfe attended the game, invited to the UH President’s Box. There was a F-22 formation fly-by at the start of the game, which was the second time for the day since they did one for Veteran’s Day earlier.
AFCAC Airmen’s Luncheons (11/17) AFCAC members volunteered to help serve Thanksgiving meals to our airmen.
Thanksgiving Day Meal Serving@ Hale Aina Dining Facility (11/25) Community leaders including Steering Committee members of AFCAC were invited.
